  • Does not receive government funding
  • Relies solely on donations from the public to fund their organization
  • Largest no kill shelter in Louisiana state
  • Louisiana and Mississippi state suffer from one of the largest pet overpopulation in the US
  • The shelter also provides animal rescue during disastors such as BP Oil Spill
  • Once space is freed up at the shelter after a pet is adopted, they will go to shelters to rescue animals on “death row” in hopes of finding them a new home.

Their Mission: To save the life of every adoptable animal in our community through education,
adoption and spay/neuter programs.

Their Vision: To lay the foundation for a no-kill nation.
