The Ian Somerhalder Birthday Project (now renamed Paws For A Cause) for 2010 was a tremendous success. Vamipre Diaries & Ian Somerhalder Fans (as well as animal lovers) raised a total of $11,100 for the shelter. I am truely amazed and humbled by the amazing support of the fandom.

For 2011, the goal will be to beat $11,100 and in order to do that and to do it in a timely manner, I decided it was best to begin raising funds early in 2011. Our goal for 2011 will be the amount of $30,000.

There is a team of dedicated and amazing animal lovers in place to plan out ideas for the project as well as a team on standby ready to promote it.
